The Okaloosa County Compost Giveaway begins at 9:00 AM on November 4, 2020 and ends at 5:00 PM on November 10, 2020.

1. ELIGIBILITY: This sweepstakes is only open to legal residents of Okaloosa County who are eighteen years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Employees and representatives of Okaloosa County, immediate family and household members of each such employee, are not eligible to win the sweepstake.
2. HOW TO ENTER: There is one method of entry for this giveaway:
   
   1. To enter via Instagram: post a picture on your feed* of your yard/garden/or plants with the hashtag #okaloosacomposts.*Tip - If your account is set to private, tag @okaloosacountyfl or send us a direct message so that we're alerted.

All entries received will be monitored to ensure compliance with these official rules. All eligible entries submitted according to the official rules will be deemed as an entry. All Entries must comply with these Official Rules, including, without limitation, the "Entry Requirements" section below. All Entries must be submitted during the Promotion Period. Entries will not be acknowledged or returned. A limit of one (1) Entry may be submitted per Participant regardless of the entry method, throughout the entire Promotion Period.

Entry Submission Requirements:

MUST be created solely by the Entrant.

Hashtag MUST be in the English language.

To be eligible, entry: (1) may not be obscene, indecent, or otherwise offensive. (2) be original work (3) may not defame or invade the privacy rights of any person, living or deceased; (4) infringe, violate, or misappropriate any person’s or entity’s personal or proprietary rights, (6) may not contain any words, statements, or images considered offensive to individuals or any age, race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, or other protected class, or who are disabled, (7) adhere to the Instagram Terms of Use. Failure to comply with these Entry Requirements is grounds for an automatic disqualification from the giveaway.

3. DETERMINATION OF WINNER: A random drawing will be conducted on November 11, 2020 from a randomized number generator. The odds of winning the giveaway depend upon the total number of eligible entries received during the period.
4. WINNER NOTIFICATION: The winner will be privately messaged on November 11, 2020 and must have a public account to do so. Failure to accept or respond within a week of the winners being announced will result in picking another entry. The winners will pick up the compost bin from the County Commission office located at 1250 N. Eglin Parkway, Suite 100 Shalimar, FL 32579.
5. PRIZE: 1 compost bin with a guide on how to start composting.
